Some of the 8K recording options of Canon EOS R5 has leaked & we bring it straight to you.
From the images its evident that the camera has 8K DCI & 8K ultra Modes which are slightly different resolutions (8192×4320 and 7680×4320). Codecs for 8K recordings appear to be ALL-I, IPB, and obviously RAW.
The information is also that 8K video upto 29.97 fps & 4K video upto 119.9 fps will not be cropped (windowed), it will be from a full sensor readout.
Also there has been no reported overheating issues even with long duration recording time. There seems to be something that Canon has done right here.
