Canon took the world by surprise with their EOS R5 mirrorless camera, it sure caught Sony off-guard. Looked like they were creating 'Dejavu' (read Canon 5D Mark 3 days)
Every one was awestruck at the cameras capabilities to record 8K RAW video in such a small form factor. Though the form factor is very similar to previous EOS R camera with no real passive cooling or any other cooling technology like in the new Fuji cameras.
But this awe seems to be short lived as
new leaks from Canon are stating that the camera has heating
issues with long duration video recording at higher resolution /
bitrate.
Wish Canon could have taken some more time & innovated with the R5 cameras cooling system as well. So much this Canon R5 cameras has to offer but is limited by heating issues. This sure is a bummer.
