Since launching their first camera the BMCC at NAB 2012 they have taken the limelight at every NAB there after with their innovation. A lot was expected from BM at 2020 NAB too, sadly due to the pandemic this years NAB stands cancelled. But that has not stopped the fans from getting excited about BM cameras. One such excited fan has come up with a detailed render of what fans expect of the next BM camera, The 6K Extreme PRO.
This fan rendered camera boasts of a 6K Super 35 Sensor with 16 stops dynamic range & Dual Native ISO rated at 800 & 4000 . It can also shoot 6K video at upto 96 fps & 4K DCI video upto 220 fps. The camera also comes with built in IR ND from 0 to 8 stops.
This render shows a completely new modular design with interchangeable lens mount, additional 7 inch touch LCD monitor & EVF.
This render looks pretty interesting and ticks a number of check boxes. Hope Blackmagic Design takes note of this and tries and implements most of the fan requests in their next camera.
